Thanks to everyone who attended UCP's 2016 Walk, Roll 'n' Run, which was held this September. When you bring llamas to the party, a little rain just doesn't matter! You can see lots more pictures of the fun (including the llamas) on our Facebook page.

The 2014 Walk, Roll 'n' Run Was a Huge Sucess!

Wow!  Another great Walk, Roll ‘n’ Run has passed, and once again, we were delighted with the turnout.

We wish to extend a special "thank you" to all the employees and other volunteers who served on the planning committee, volunteered to help at the event, and who formed team, joined teams, and did fundraising. Thanks to your hard work, at least $98,000 has been raised so far.

Donations are still being accepted through the end of the September; so please click here if you want to help us reach our final goal of raising $100,000.  We are so close!

Also, don't forget to check out event pictures on UCP's Facebook page.

The 2013 Walk, Roll 'n' Run Is a GREAT SUCCESS!

I am pleased to announce that as of this morning with contributions that will continue to be received until the end of the month, the 9th Annual Walk, Roll ‘n’ Run has raised over $87,500!  What an amazing demonstration of employee and community support. It was a beautiful morning and inspiring experience and we look forward to next year as we continue to “Engage, Inspire, and Connect.”

Great News!

As you might remember, back in April, UCP announced an exciting partnership with Lawyers Title. Between April and June, every time a transaction closed, Lawyers Title set aside a portion to donate to UCP.

Today, we got to find out just how much had been raised when we received a large and exciting check for $11,333, which will be used as a Platinum Sponsorship for this year's Walk, Roll ‘n’ Run. This significant contribution has helped us be even closer to our event goal of raising $80,000!

Lawyers Title has also formed a Walk, Roll ‘n’ Run team, which will be made up of interested employees and others in their network.

Thanks to Lawyers Title for all of their support! This company is truly assisting UCP to further our message of “Engage, inspire, and connect”.

Since then, our partnership has only grown. Their founder and Executive Director, Kim Stegeman (aka Rocket Mean), spoke this year at our annual "Friends Breakfast".  She talked about how excited she was to find an event that has the word "roll" in the title, and how much she enjoys being part of the UCP community.

The Rose City Rollers will be rolling along with participants at this year's Walk, Roll 'n' Run.  They are also working with us to put together a "Family Skate Night" outing in the near future, so stayed tuned for details on that.
